Ghost (MMO): Subway Ectoplasm Guide

In Ghost, you play as a spirit haunting a modern city. To upgrade your “Poltergeist” abilities, you need Ectoplasm. The new “Subway” zone added this month is arguably the best farm spot.

The Route: Line 4 (Abandoned)

Enter through the Metro Station North entrance. You do not need a ticket; you can phase through the turnstiles.

1. The Platform

• Enemies: “Forgotten Commuters” (Level 12).
• Strategy: Group them up. Use “Shriek” (AoE Fear) to keep them stunned, then “Possess Object” on the vending machine to shoot cans at them.
• Drops: 2-3 Ectoplasm per kill.

2. The Tunnel

Walk down the tracks. Avoid the Phantom Train that passes every 2 minutes (it one-shots you).

• Target: “Rat Spirits”.
• Why: They have low HP and drop “Essence of Filth” which converts to 10 Ectoplasm at the spectral vendor.

3. The Maintenance Room (Hidden)

Halfway down the tunnel, phase through the wall marked with the “Do Not Enter” sign.

• Chest: A “Spectral Locker” spawns here every 15 minutes containing 50 Ectoplasm.

Hourly Gain

• Casual: 400 Ecto/hr.
• Optimized: 750 Ecto/hr (using +Drop Rate consumables).

Warning: Enemy “Exorcist” players sometimes patrol this area. If you see a player with a blue flashlight, phase through the floor immediately.
