The Land of the Morning Light Part 2 expansion for Black Desert Online has introduced the breathtaking “Snow Mountain” region (not to be confused with the Eternal Winter region). Within this new zone, greedy adventurers can find hidden Dokkebi Chests scattered across the map.
Finding all 5 chests rewards you with the Crystal of Harmony, a new versatile crystal that fits into any slot and provides +5 All AP.
Here are the locations for the 5 chests in the Snow Mountain region.
Chest 1: The Frozen Tiger Palace
- Location: Navigate to the Tiger Palace node.
- Specifics: Head behind the main palace structure to the frozen waterfall. You must jump across the slippery ice platforms.
- The Chest: The chest is hidden inside a small cave behind the frozen waterfall curtain. You may need to use a lantern to see it.
Chest 2: Dalbeol Village (Winter Version)
- Location: The main bridge leading into the village.
- Specifics: Unlike the spring version, the river below is frozen.
- The Chest: Drop down under the bridge. The chest is tucked into the stone support pillar on the north side, half-buried in snow.
Chest 3: Peak of the Fox God
- Location: The highest peak in the region.
- Specifics: You will need a Dream Horse (Arduanatt) or very high climbing skills.
- The Chest: Look for a lone pine tree at the absolute summit. The chest is at the base of the tree.
Chest 4: The Scholar’s Retreat
- Location: Inside the library building.
- Specifics: Go to the second floor and look for a folding screen painting.
- The Chest: Interact with the painting to move it aside. The chest is in a secret alcove behind it.
Chest 5: Bamboo Forest Hot Spring
- Location: The natural hot springs east of the village.
- Specifics: Look for the spring with the monkey NPCs bathing in it.
- The Chest: The chest is submerged underwater in the center of the hottest spring. You will take tick damage while diving for it, so be quick!
Reward: Crystal of Harmony
Once you open the final chest, you will receive the Crystal of Harmony.
- Stats: All AP +5, Max Weight +20LT.
- Note: This crystal is family-bound and cannot be sold on the Central Market.
