BitCraft Online Resource Guide: Where to Find Every Material
BitCraft Online uses a tiered resource system across all its professions. Every material has a tier from I to X, and higher-tier resources require higher skill levels and better equipment to harvest. This guide covers every resource category and where to find the materials you need for crafting, building, and progressing through the game.

Resource Tiers Explained
All resources in BitCraft follow a consistent tier structure. As you level up a profession, you unlock access to higher tiers. Higher-tier materials are found in more dangerous or remote areas, and they are required for advanced recipes and equipment. Understanding this system is key to planning your progression.
Ores
Mining is one of BitCraftโs core professions. Ores are processed at a Mining Station to create usable pieces and packages.
| Tier | Ore | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| I | Ferralith Ore | Starting ore, found in safe starting zones |
| II | Pyrelite Ore | Requires mining level 2+ |
| III | Emarium Ore | Mid-tier ore for intermediate crafting |
| IV | Elenvar Ore | High-tier ore, found in dangerous regions |
Ferralith Ore Chunks are processed into Ferralith Ore Pieces at the Mining Station. At 100 pieces, you can create a Ferralith Ore Package for bulk storage and transport. The same applies to Rough Stone which becomes Rough Pebbles and eventually Rough Pebble Packages (1000 units).
As you reach mining tier 2, Pyrelite Ore becomes available and follows the same chunk-to-piece-to-package progression. Plan your mining routes to hit multiple ore nodes in a single trip for maximum efficiency.
Wood
Woodcutting provides the building blocks for construction and crafting. Trees are found throughout the world, with different species indicating different tiers.
| Tier | Tree Types |
|---|---|
| I | Beech Tree, Oak Tree |
| II | Dendro, Birch |
| III | Spruce, Windswept |
| IV | Pine, Rosewood |
Beech and Oak are the most common trees and are found in starter areas. Dendro and Birch appear in slightly more challenging biomes. Spruce and Windswept trees grow in mountainous or coastal regions, while Pine and Rosewood are the rarest and found in endgame zones.
Wood is processed into planks at a sawmill-type station. Higher-tier planks are required for advanced building recipes and furniture. Always gather more wood than you think you need, as construction projects consume vast quantities.
Fish
Fishing in BitCraft uses a tiered system with different catches available in different water types. You start by catching Moonlight Crawdads without bait, and progression requires better rods, higher fishing levels, and appropriate bait.
Ocean Fish
| Tier | Fish |
|---|---|
| I | Breezy Fin Darters, Oceancrest Marlins |
| II | Emberfin Shiners, Serpentfish |
| III | Coralcrest Darters, Wavecrest Eels |
| IV | Mossfin Chub, Sea Storm Tuna |
Freshwater Fish
| Tier | Fish |
|---|---|
| I | Moonlight Crawdads |
| II | Driftwood Crayfish |
| III | Hunchback Prawns |
| IV | Pygmy Lobsters |
Moonlight Crawdads can be found in rivers, lakes, and coasts without bait. They can be processed at a Fishing Station into bait and shells. Shells are processed at a Grinder into ingredients for mortar. Always process your crawdads rather than selling them raw, as the derived materials are worth more.
Foraging Resources
Foraging covers plants, mushrooms, flowers, berries, and other gatherable items found in the open world.
Mushrooms
| Tier | Mushroom |
|---|---|
| I | Button Mushrooms |
| II | Chanterelles |
| III | Russala |
| IV | Indigo Milk Cap |
Flowers
| Tier | Flowers |
|---|---|
| I | Daisy, Lavender |
| II | Dandelions |
| III | Aloe, Marigold |
| IV | Bluebell |
Berries
| Tier | Berries |
|---|---|
| I | Strawberry |
| II | Honeyberry |
| III | Juniperberry |
| IV | Blueberry Bush |
Plants
| Tier | Plants |
|---|---|
| I | Bush, Wild Starbulb, Wild Grains |
| II | Ferns |
| III | Ghost Succulent |
| IV | Jute |
Mushrooms and berries are often used in cooking recipes, while flowers and plants serve as crafting ingredients. Wild Starbulb and Wild Grains are particularly common in starter zones and are useful for early recipes.
Clay, Sand, and Stone
These earth resources are essential for pottery, construction, and advanced crafting.
Clay
| Tier | Clay Type |
|---|---|
| I | Clay Mound |
| II | Earthenware Clay |
| III | Fine Clay |
| IV | Kaolinite |
Sand
| Tier | Sand Type |
|---|---|
| I | Basic Sand |
| II | Olivine Sand |
| III | Crystallized Sand |
| IV | Garnet Sand |
Stone
| Tier | Stone Type |
|---|---|
| I | Limestone |
| II | Shale |
| III | Granite |
| IV | Basalt |
Clay Mounds and Basic Sand are found near water sources and riverbanks. Limestone is abundant in most biomes. Higher-tier variants require exploration of more remote areas.
Research Resources
Research items are unique to BitCraft and are used in scholarly professions. They follow the same tier structure as other resources.
| Tier | Resource |
|---|---|
| I | Simple Hieroglyph |
| II | Neat Hieroglyph |
| III | Fine Hieroglyph |
| IV | Exquisite Hieroglyph |
These are found scattered throughout the world, often near ancient ruins or hidden locations. They are required for progression in scholarly crafting paths.
Huntable Animals
Hunting provides meat, hides, and other animal resources. Animals are found in different biomes and increase in danger with tier.
| Tier | Animals |
|---|---|
| I | Sagi Bird |
| II | Nubi Goat |
| III | Cervus |
| IV | Ardea, Rangifer, Srofa |
| V | Dromai, Ox |
| VI | Yagi |
| VII | Jungle Terrorbird |
| VIII | Elder Scrofa |
| IX | Tundra Ox |
| X | Desert Terrorbird |
Sagi Birds are the safest animals to hunt for beginners. As you progress, you will encounter more dangerous prey like the Jungle Terrorbird and eventually the Desert Terrorbird at tier X. Always be prepared with proper weapons and armor before hunting higher-tier animals.
Resource Gathering Tips
- Explore thoroughly - Resources are often hidden in corners and off the beaten path
- Match your equipment to the tier - Using lower-tier tools on higher-tier nodes wastes time
- Process raw materials - Almost everything is worth more processed than raw
- Stockpile tier I resources - They remain useful for basic recipes even in endgame
- Watch for resource respawns - Nodes respawn on timers, so plan efficient gathering routes
- Check water sources - Clay, sand, and crawdads are all found near water
BitCraftโs resource system rewards patience and planning. Start by mastering your local areaโs tier I and II resources, then gradually expand into more dangerous territory as your skills and equipment improve. The tiered progression ensures that every gathering session feels meaningful as you work toward the next unlock.
