How to Unlock the Fast Travel Bell
Current guides place the unlock at the Smuggler’s Cache near your starting beach.
What to do:
- Go to the Smuggler’s Cache close to spawn.
- Break the cover over the hidden hole.
- Go down the stairs.
- Clear the Drowned inside.
- Loot the chest.
That chest currently unlocks the Fast Travel Bell recipe.
Fast Travel Bell Recipe
Current Workbench recipe:
- 10 Copper Ingots
- 3 Rope
This is one of the first recipes that makes Copper feel scarce, so make sure your smelting loop is working first.

The Bell itself is not enough. You also need to build a coastline structure with Build Mode.

- copper production is stable
- you have started moving between islands often
