  • To provide and maintain the MMOKB service

  • To send account-related emails (verification, password reset, login alerts)
  • To display your contributions (edits, comments, votes) publicly on the site

4. Public Content

Any content you submit to MMOKB — including guide edits, comments, votes, and profile information — is publicly visible. Your username is associated with all contributions. We do not sell or share your private data (email, password) with third parties.

5. Cookies

MMOKB uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie expires after 30 days of inactivity and is not accessible to third-party scripts. We also use Google Analytics for anonymized traffic analytics. You can opt out of analytics cookies via your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data — retained while your account is active. On deletion, your username is anonymized and personal data removed.
  • Contributions — guide edits and comments remain publicly visible (attributed to your username) even after account deletion.
  • Login history — retained for the last 10 login events.
  • Sessions — automatically expire after 30 days.

7. Third-Party Services

MMOKB uses the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure
  • Google Analytics — anonymized traffic analytics
  • Google Fonts — Chakra Petch and IBM Plex font families

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (viewable in your profile and account settings)
  • Correct inaccurate data (edit your profile at any time)
  • Delete your account (available in account settings)
  • Export your contributions (contact us for a data export)
  • Opt out of non-essential cookies (via browser settings)

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, HTTPS encryption for all traffic, and two-factor authentication for account protection.
