Tibia: Winter Update 2025 - “Frozen Thais” Access Quest
The Winter Update 2025 has brought a chilling new threat to the classic city of Thais. To enter the new high-level hunting ground, Permafrost, players must first complete the “Frozen Thais” access quest.
Starting the Quest: Mirade’s Plea
Head to the North Gate of Thais. You will find an NPC named Mirade standing near the guard tower, shivering.
- Dialogue: Say
hi,frozen,threat,help. - Mirade will explain that a magical frost is creeping from the north and ask for your assistance in analyzing it.
The Task: Collecting Ice Shards
Your mission is to collect 50 Ice Shards.
- Target: Winter Wolves. These are special event mobs spawning just north of the Thais gate and towards Mount Sternum.
- Drop Rate: The drop rate is approximately 50%, so expect to kill around 100 wolves.
- Tip: Use Fire damage (GFB runes or Exori Flam) to clear them quickly, as they are weak to fire.
Reward: Permafrost Access
Once you have the 50 shards:
- Return to Mirade.
- Say
hi,shards,yes. - She will enchant your character, granting you permanent access to the Permafrost portal located inside the Ancient Temple.
The Permafrost is a level 250+ hunting ground, so ensure you are supplied before entering the portal!
