Warframe: 1999 Update - Arthur’s “Gemini” Skin Unlock Guide
With the release of Warframe: 1999 (Patch 37.5), Tenno can finally get their hands on the highly anticipated Arthur “Gemini” Skin for Excalibur. This proto-frame aesthetic harkens back to the Dark Sector era, but unlocking it requires a keen eye and mastery of the new environments.
There is a strict prerequisite before you can begin this hunt: you must have completed the “Whispers in the Walls” questline to access the necessary areas.
Finding the 6 Digital Echoes
The key to unlocking the skin lies in locating 6 Digital Echoes scattered across the new Höllvan tileset. These echoes appear as flickering, glitch-like distortions in the environment that emit a faint humming noise when you are near.
1. The Subway Station Platform
The first echo is located in the main subway hub. Look for a vending machine near the “Platform 3” sign. The echo is hovering just above the tracks. Be careful of the passing trains—they will one-shot you even in Operator mode.
2. The abandoned Arcade
In the commercial district sector of Höllvan, enter the “Digi-Den” arcade. In the back room, behind the row of broken cabinets, you will find the second echo floating near a high score screen.
3. Rooftop Sniper Nest
Navigate to the upper exterior sections of the map. There is a specific water tower with a ladder leading up. The third echo is perched on the rim of the tower, overlooking the street below.
4. The Maintenance Tunnels
Access the maintenance tunnels via the grate in the alleyway. Follow the green pipes until you reach a large junction room. The echo is hidden behind a stack of crates in the northeast corner.
5. The Server Room
Inside the corporate tower section, you will need to hack a panel to enter the server room. The echo is circulating around the central mainframe pillar. You may need to wall-latch to reach it.
6. Arthur’s Safehouse (Story Instance)
The final echo is only accessible during or after the “1999” story replay. Return to Arthur’s safehouse apartment. The echo is interactable on the desk next to his computer terminal.
Claiming Your Reward
Once you have interacted with all 6 Digital Echoes, you will receive an inbox message from Loid. He will commend your efforts in stabilizing the timeline and attach the Arthur Gemini Skin Blueprint.
Head to your foundry to craft it. The requirements are standard for a skin of this tier, requiring mostly resources found within the Höllvan tileset.
Equip it on Excalibur to enjoy unique voice lines and a custom idle animation that references the original 1999 demo!
