Wayfinder Best Wayfinders Tier List 2026 — All Characters Ranked
Wayfinder’s roster of playable heroes (Wayfinders) has grown with each season. Each character has a unique weapon, three abilities, and a passive — plus the Echo system that lets you customise stats and gain additional effects. This tier list ranks every Wayfinder for solo play, group DPS, and endgame viability.

If you’re looking for Complete Wayfinder character tier list for 2026, or Ranking every Wayfinder for solo play, group DPS, and endgame content, or Ability synergies, best weapons, and echo loadouts, you’re in the right place.
How Rankings Work
Each Wayfinder is evaluated on:
- Solo capability — Can they clear dungeons alone without a healer?
- Group DPS — Raw damage output in coordinated parties
- Utility — Buffs, debuffs, crowd control for the team
- Skill ceiling — How much mastery is required vs reward
- Echo synergy — How well they scale with the right Echo loadout
S-Tier — Meta Dominant
Wingrave (Sword and Shield)
The best all-around Wayfinder. Wingrave’s Righteous Strike heals him on hit — combined with his shield block passive, he can face-tank most bosses without a dedicated healer. His Judgment ability deals AoE damage and applies a damage vulnerability debuff, making him a strong contributor in groups too. Best Echo loadout: stack Weapon Power and Crit Chance. With a fully upgraded Titan’s Bane sword, Wingrave solos content that requires a full party for other Wayfinders. Recommended for new players and solo mains.
Silo (Dual Pistols)
The highest ranged DPS in the game. Silo’s Fan the Hammer unloads his entire magazine in a burst window that deletes boss health bars. His Trick Shot ricochets between enemies for excellent AoE clear. Fragile — one or two boss hits can kill him — but his range and dodge give him safety other DPS lack. Best weapon: Night’s Edge for crit synergy. Best Echoes: Crit Damage, Weapon Power, and ability cooldown reduction to cycle Fan the Hammer faster.
A-Tier — Strong and Consistent
Niss (Dual Daggers)
The highest mobility Wayfinder. Niss’s Shadow Step teleports her behind enemies for guaranteed backstab crits. Her Bleeding Edge applies a stacking bleed that melts high-HP targets. Insane single-target damage but requires constant repositioning. High skill ceiling — mastery rewards you with the fastest dungeon clear times in the game. Pair with Shadow Fang daggers and Echoes that buff backstab damage. Not recommended for beginners.
Senja (Greatsword)
The AoE queen. Senja’s Cleave hits everything in a wide arc and her War Cry buffs the entire party’s damage. In dungeons with dense trash packs, Senja out-damages even Silo. Her slow attack speed makes her weaker against single mobile bosses, but her party buff keeps her valuable in any group. Best weapon: Rift Breaker for the shockwave proc. Best Echoes: AoE damage, Weapon Power, and party buff duration.
Kyros (Staff)
The only dedicated caster. Kyros’s Arcane Barrage deals massive ranged AoE and his Mana Shield absorbs damage — his main survival tool. Excellent against stationary bosses and in group content where others hold aggro. Fragile when Mana Shield is down. His damage scales with Ability Power rather than Weapon Power, making his Echo priorities unique. Best Echoes: Ability Power, Max Mana, and shield strength. Weak solo — needs a team or a tanky companion pet.
B-Tier — Niche or Situational
Grendel (Gauntlets)
Melee brawler with a rage mechanic. Grendel’s damage increases as he takes hits, encouraging an aggressive playstyle. His Haymaker stuns enemies and his passive gives lifesteal during rage. Fun to play, but his damage ceiling is below Wingrave while being less survivable. Viable with heavy Echo investment in lifesteal and damage reduction. Best for players who enjoy high-risk melee.
Venomess (Crossbow + Poison)
DoT specialist. Venomess applies stacking poison with every shot and her Toxic Cloud creates a persistent damage zone. Excellent against bosses with large hitboxes where poison ticks continuously. Weak against mobile enemies and in fast-paced dungeons. Strong in specific encounters, weak as a general-purpose pick. Best Echoes: DoT damage, status effect duration, and ability cooldown.
Best Wayfinder for Each Content Type
| Content Type | Best Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Solo play (learning) | Wingrave | Self-healing, forgiving, strong damage |
| Solo play (speed) | Niss | Fastest clears with high mastery |
| Group DPS (bossing) | Silo | Highest single-target burst |
| Group DPS (AoE) | Senja | Best trash clearing + party buff |
| Progression raiding | Wingrave or Kyros | Survivability or safe ranged DPS |
| PvP (if available) | Niss | Mobility + burst |
Echo Loadout Priority (All Wayfinders)
When choosing Echoes, prioritise in this order:
- Primary damage stat (Weapon Power for melee/ranged, Ability Power for Kyros)
- Crit Chance (aim for 30%+ before investing in Crit Damage)
- Survivability (Max HP, Damage Reduction, or Shield Strength depending on class)
- Utility (cooldown reduction, movement speed)
Summary
For beginners: Wingrave is the safest and strongest pick. For damage dealers: Silo (ranged) or Niss (melee). For group support: Senja. Avoid Grendel and Venomess unless you enjoy niche playstyles. Invest Echoes into your primary damage stat first, then Crit Chance, then survivability.
