Credit Sources
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Kill | +200 |
| Spike plant | +300 (entire team) |
| Round win | +3,000 |
| Round loss | +1,900 |
| Consecutive loss bonus | +500 per loss (caps at +2,900) |
| Defuse (round-win bonus) | Included in win bonus |
Buy Types Defined
Full Buy — 4,000+ Credits
Maximum equipment. Rifle + heavy armor + all abilities.
Minimum:
- Phantom/Vandal (2,900)
- Heavy Shields (1,000)
- All abilities (200-600)
- Total: ~4,100-4,500 credits
Eco Round — 1,500-2,500 Credits
Save money for next round. Minimal spending.
Buy options:
- Classic/Sheriff only (spend nothing or 800)
- Light armor + Sheriff (1,200)
- Ability-focused (save gun money, buy utility)
Force Buy — All-In
Spend everything you have despite not having enough for full buy. Used when:
- You need to break the enemy’s economy
- It’s match point
- You’re on a losing streak and need momentum
Buy options:
- Spectre/Stinger + Heavy Armor + some abilities (spend all credits)
- Bulldog + Light Armor + abilities
Half Buy — 3,000-3,800 Credits
Partial investment, saving some for next round.
Buy options:
- Marshal + light armor + abilities (~2,200 spent, saving for rifle next round)
- Sheriff only (minimal spend, full save for next round)
Bonus Round — Won with Incomplete Buy
Winning a force/second-round buy means you have weapons but minimal credits remaining. Play carefully — dying drops your expensive gun to the enemy.
Round-by-Round Economy Flow
Round 1: Pistol Round
| Buy | Credits Spent | Remaining |
|---|---|---|
| Ghost + Light Armor | 500 + 400 = 900 | 100 |
| Classic + Half Armor + Abilities | 0 + 400 + 300 = 700 | 300 |
| Classic + Full Ability Loadout | 0 + 600 = 600 | 400 |
Generally: buy as much as possible in pistol round. Credits don’t carry over after the first round — unused credits are wasted.
Round 2: Win or Loss
If you win pistol:
- Enemy has ~2,300 creds (loss bonus)
- Your team has ~3,900 creds (win + kills)
- Buy: Spectre + heavy armor + abilities (force enemy to eco again round 3)
If you lose pistol:
- Your team has ~2,400 creds (1,900 loss + kills)
- Full save or eco — buy absolutely nothing or Sheriff only
- Goal: Full buy round 3 (Rifles + heavy armor)
Round 3: Bonus or Full Buy
If you won rounds 1-2:
- Your team has Phantom/Vandal + armor
- Enemy full buys round 3
- Play bonus round carefully — don’t drop rifles to enemy
If you lost rounds 1-2:
- Your team has ~4,800 credits (full save round 2)
- Full buy: Phantom/Vandal + heavy armor + abilities
Team Coordination Rules
Golden Rules
- Always check team credits before buying. Press Tab.
- If 3+ teammates can’t full buy, eco together. Never mix full buys and saves.
- Communicate your buy plan. “Eco this round” or “Full buying.”
- Buy for teammates. If you have excess credits, drop a rifle for your duelist.
- Don’t save on match point. Force buy everything — there’s no next round if you lose.
Economy Management for IGLs (In-Game Leaders)
| Situation | Decision |
|---|---|
| 3+ teammates with 4,000+ | Full buy |
| 2 or fewer with 4,000+ | Eco or force depending on ult economy |
| Enemy on match point | Force buy |
| Your team on match point | Full buy everything |
| Enemy broke (all died with rifles) | Consider light buy to maintain economy lead |
Understanding economy wins rounds before they’re played. A coordinated team with proper buys will win against mechanically better players who don’t manage their credits.
