Ravendawn: Aether Stone Crafting Guide

The Glacial Update added the icy region of Gilead. To survive the cold and craft T4 Ice Resistance gear, you need Aether Stones.

Required Materials

To craft 1 Aether Stone, you need:

1. 3x Glacial Shards: Dropped by “Ice Elementals” and “Frost Trolls” in Gilead. Drop rate is approx 15%.
2. 1x Dense Stone: Mined from Iron/Silver nodes.
3. 50 Labor.

The Crafting Process

Aether Stones fall under the Masonry profession (Level 30 required).

1. Go to a Stonemason’s Table.
2. Select “Magical Components”.
3. Crafting the stone involves the mini-game.
   • Tip: Use “Polish” early to get quality up. Aether Stones can proc “Perfect” quality, which doubles the Crafting XP you gain.

Best Farming Spot

The best place to farm Glacial Shards is The Frozen Lake (South Gilead).

• Mob Density: High.
• Respawn: Fast.
• Warning: It is a PvP hotspot. Groups often control the center of the lake. Stick to the edges if solo.

Uses

• T4 Glacial Armor: Requires 10 Aether Stones per piece.
• Runes: Used to craft “Rune of Warmth” (Passive cold resist).
