Throne and Liberty: Talandre Dungeon Mechanics - Eclipse Archboss Guide

The Eclipse Archboss in the Talandre Dungeon is one of the most mechanically demanding encounters in Throne and Liberty. The fight revolves around the unique Eclipse Timer and tight damage checks.

Here is the strategy to defeat him.

Phase 1: The Build-Up (100% - 50% HP)

The boss cycles between two main attacks.

  1. Shadow Wave: A cone AoE. Tank must face him away from the group.
  2. Solar Flare: A targeted meteor on a random DPS. The target must run AWAY from the group to drop the puddle.

Phase 2: The Eclipse Timer (50% HP)

At 50% health, the room goes dark. A large moon/sun dial appears above the boss.

  • Mechanic: The dial slowly fills with darkness.
  • Failure Condition: If the dial fills completely (Eclipse), the raid wipes instantly.

Specific Assignments

  • Light Orb Runners: Two players must be assigned to pick up Light Orbs that spawn at the edges of the room.
  • Deposit: They must deposit these orbs into the Pillars of Light (North and South) to “push back” the darkness on the dial.
  • Interference: Whilst running, shadows will try to grapple them. The remaining DPS must prioritize killing these shadows immediately.

Phase 3: Enrage (10% HP)

At 10% health, the boss enrages.

  • Soft Enrage: He gains a stacking damage buff every 5 seconds.
  • Burn Phase: Save all Ultimate Skills and Potions for this phase. Ignore mechanics (except the wipe) and burn him down.

Drop Rewards

  • Eclipse Weapon Chest: Chance for Legendary Talandre weapons.
  • Archboss Soul: Crafting material for Mythic gear.
