Neverwinter Astral Diamonds Farming Guide 2026 — Make AD Fast
Astral Diamonds (AD) are the currency that buys everything in Neverwinter — companions, mounts, enchantments, and gear. Your account can refine 100,000 raw AD per day. Here is how to consistently hit that cap.

Daily Queues: The Foundation
Run these every day for guaranteed AD:

Daily routine: Run all four queues = approximately 33,000–83,000 raw AD per day plus bonus AD from chests.
Play a tank or healer for near-instant queues. DPS queues can take 10-15 minutes to pop.
Weekly Campaign Quests
Each campaign has weekly quests that reward raw AD:
- Avernus weekly — 50,000 raw AD
- Dragonbone Vale weekly — 40,000 raw AD
- Northdark Reaches weekly — 45,000 raw AD
- Sharandar weekly — 25,000 raw AD
- Dread Ring lairs — 15,000 raw AD per run (3 per week = 45,000)
Total from weeklies: approximately 200,000+ raw AD per week, split across your 100,000 daily refinement.
Auction House: Where the Real AD Is
The Auction House (AH) is the best source of AD, but requires market knowledge.
What sells:
- Enchantments and Runestones — Rank 10+ sell quickly. Buy low during events, sell between events.
- Companion Upgrade Tokens — Always in demand. Buy from the Zen Market during sales, sell on the AH.
- Mount Upgrade Tokens — Same strategy as companion tokens.
- Legendary Insignias — Drops from dungeons. Prices spike when new mounts release.
- Preservation Wards and Coalescent Wards — Buy from the Wondrous Bazaar during sales, resell at markup.
Flipping strategy:
- Identify items with stable demand (enchantments, upgrade tokens)
- Buy during Zen Market sales or events when supply surges
- Sell 2-4 weeks later when supply normalises
- Markup target: 15-35%
Legacy Campaigns
Older campaigns reward AD from their weekly quests and can be completed quickly if over-geared:
- Tyranny of Dragons — ~5,000 AD per weekly
- Elemental Evil — ~3,000 AD per zone completion
- Maze Engine — ~4,000 AD per weekly run
- Underdark — ~3,000 AD per demonic heroic encounter
These are low-value individually but add up if you speed-run them.
Events: Double Refinement and AD Bonuses
Neverwinter runs events that boost AD gains:
- Double Refinement — Doubles all RP gains. Sell refinement materials during this event.
- 2x AD Events — Doubles AD from dungeons and skirmishes. Farm these aggressively.
- Summer Festival / Winter Festival — Unique event currencies and items sell well on the AH.
AD Spending Priority
- VIP — The single best investment. 1,000 Zen per month gives you a daily lockbox key, free fast travel, and a portable bank. Buy Zen during sales.
- Companion tokens — Upgrade your summoned companion to Mythic first
- Mount tokens — Then mounts to Mythic
- Enchantments — Then min-max your gear
- Fashion — Last priority
