Kakele Online: How to Reach the Eternal Ice Continent (Level 350+)
The Song of Eternal Ice update has finally arrived in Kakele Online, bringing with it the massive new frozen continent of Nostreia, also known as “The Frost Wastes”. This high-level zone offers brutal new enemies, rare loot, and the continuation of the main storyline.
However, you can’t just sail there. The bitter cold of Nostreia kills unprepared adventurers instantly. This guide covers everything you need to know to unlock the region, from the level requirements to the essential “Fire Essence” farming quest.

Prerequisites to Enter Nostreia
Before you even attempt the journey, ensure your character is ready. The developers have set a strict gate on this content to prevent low-level players from getting wiped by the environmental effects.
- Level Requirement: Level 350+ (Recommended: 375 for solo farming).
- Quest Requirement: Must have completed the “Heart of Winter” questline.
- Item Requirement: Fire Essence (x50).
Step-by-Step Guide: The “Heart of Winter” Quest
To survive the freezing temperatures of the Eternal Ice, you need a magical ward. This quest starts in the tropical city of Li-Poh.
1. Talk to Captain Frostbeard
Head to the docks in Li-Poh (coordinates 125, 88). You will find a new NPC named Captain Frostbeard standing next to a reinforced icebreaker ship.
- Dialogue: Ask him about “The Northern Rumors”.
- Task: He will tell you that his ship can break the ice, but you will freeze to death without protection. He directs you to Mage Pyra in the Volcano Caverns.

2. Farming Fire Essence
Mage Pyra (located deep within the Volcano entrance near Keblessa) agrees to craft you a “Warmth Amulet,” but she needs fuel.
- Objective: Collect 50 Fire Essence.
- Location: Kill Magma Golems and Fire Spirits in the volcano dungeon.
- Drop Rate: The drop rate is approximately 20%, so expect to grind for about an hour.
Pro Tip: Bring a Hunter friend or use AoE spells; the mobs spawn in clusters of 3-4.
3. Crafting the Warmth Amulet
Return to Mage Pyra with the 50 Fire Essence. She will craft the Warmth Amulet.
- Note: This is a passive item. You do not need to equip it in your necklace slot; simply having it in your backpack prevents the “Hypothermia” debuff that ticks for 10% HP/sec in Nostreia.
Traveling to Nostreia
Once you have the amulet, return to Li-Poh and speak to Captain Frostbeard again.
- Select “I am ready to sail.”
- Pay the fee of 50,000 Gold (one-time fee).
- A cutscene will play showing your ship breaking through the glaciers.
You will arrive at Frozen Harbor, the safe zone in Nostreia. From here, you can set your spawn point and begin exploring the Frost Wastes.
What to Expect in Nostreia
- New Mobs: Yetis (Lvl 360), Ice Wyrms (Lvl 380), and the elite Frost Giants (Lvl 400).
- Loot: Look out for “Glacial Shards,” a new crafting material for the Level 400 “Eternal” equipment set.
- PvP: The central area of Nostreia is a designated Open PvP zone, so watch your back if you are on a PvP server!
