Pax Dei: The ‘Feasts & Festivals’ Update

Pax Dei is a game about society. The latest update reinforces this by making “relaxing” a viable gameplay loop.

The Feast System

You can now craft “Banquet Tables”.

• Input: Requires high-tier food (Roast Boar, Mead, Berry Tarts).
• Action: Clan members sit and eat for 10 minutes.
• Reward: Grants the Clan Spirit buff for 4 hours.
  • +10% Resource Gathering Yield.
  • +5% Max Health.

Brewing

A new profession: Brewer.

• Requires fermentation vats.
• Mead needs to age in real-time. (24 hours for T1, 1 week for T3).
• Aged Mead sells for a premium on the player markets.

Instrument Playing

Music system added (ABC file support). Bards provide a stamina regen aura while playing near a campfire.

This update effectively buffs large clans, as organizing a 50-person feast is logistics-heavy. Solo players can partake by visiting public taverns in player hubs.
