Lost Ark: Tier 4 Voldis Depths Efficiency Guide

With the arrival of Tier 4, the daily grind has shifted to the Voldis Depths Chaos Dungeon. Requiring an Item Level of 1660, this dungeon introduces new elite mobs and mechanics that can slow down unoptimized runs.

Here is how to clear Voldis Depths efficiently and maximize your shard gains.

New Mechanic: Void Eruption

The signature mechanic of Tier 4 Chaos Dungeons is the Void Eruption.

Trigger: In Stage 2, defeating the named elite (Red Icon) has a chance to spawn a Golden Void Portal.
Effect: Entering the portal triggers Void Eruption. For 30 seconds, your cooldowns are reduced by 80%, and your Awakening skill is reset instantly on use.
Strategy: Do not use your Awakening immediately on the elite. Kill it, check for the portal, and if it spawns, enter and then spam your Awakening to clear the screen instantly.

Best Classes for Voldis Depths

Tier 4 mob density is higher, favoring classes with large AoE bursts over sustained damage.

Slayer (Punisher): Her identity skill clears entire screens in one activation.
Souleater (Full Moon): fast cycling of large AoE skills makes her a top-tier clear speed runner.
Aeromancer: While lower damage, her constant AoE ticks keep small mobs from scattering.

Gear Changes: The Betrayal Set Falloff

Players relying on the Betrayal relic set for AFK clearing will find it less effective in Tier 4.

The Nerf: Betrayal lightning proc damage does not scale as effectively with the Tier 4 enemy HP pools.
Recommendation: Switch to Hallucination or Salvation for reliable damage increases. If you must play lazily, ensure your main stats are optimized for crit to make the set bonuses count.

Loot Priority
