The Bespin expansion in SWG Legends (Star Wars Galaxies Emulator) includes one of the most coveted features: Instanced Player Housing in Cloud City.

As of 2026, finding a free spot is still extremely competitive. This guide explains the process, costs, and tricks to snagging a plot.

Plot Requirements

You cannot simply drop a deed anywhere.

  1. Requirement: Level 90 Combat Character or Master Artisan.
  2. Reputation: Must have “Respected” status with Bespin Administration (Grind daily quests at the Cloud City plaza).
  3. Cost: 50,000,000 Credits (Base Deed) + 250,000 Credits/week maintenance.

Best Locations to Check

Plots become available when players fail to pay upkeep for 2 weeks. The best times to check are Tuesday Maintenance resets.

  • Sector 4 (Residential): High turnover due to newer players quitting.
  • Sector 1 (Luxury): Almost zero turnover. Don’t waste time camping here.
  • Sector 7 (Industrial): Ugly views, but often has 2-3 open spots.

The ‘Sniping’ Method

  1. Macro: Set up a macro to spam /structure status and /claim on a specific coordinate.
    • /alias claim_spam /target structure; /claim; /pause 1; /next_target
  2. Timing: Log in immediately after server restart (check Discord for maintenance end times).
  3. Friends: Have a friend verify plot availability on another account to avoid false positives.

Maintenance Warning

Bespin housing has a strict 2-week inactivity decay. Even with millions in the bank, logging in is required to refresh the ‘Active’ timer. Don’t lose your 50 million investment!
