Zenith: The Last City - Celestial Throne Raid - Boss 1 Guide
The Celestial Throne Raid pushes VR MMO mechanics to their limit in Zenith: The Last City. The first boss, The Star Warden, is a gear check and a physical endurance test for your tanks and DPS alike. Here is how to take him down.
Boss Mechanics: The Star Warden
The Star Warden is a heavy hitter that requires actual physical movement to defeat. Standing still is a death sentence.
1. Comet Rain (Dodge mechanic)
The Warden will raise his staff and the arena ceiling will glow.
- The Cue: Look up immediately when you hear the shimmering sound.
- The Action: You must physically dodge the falling projectiles. In VR, this means stepping to the side or squatting in real life. The hitboxes are precise, so rely on your eyes, not just in-game indicators.
2. Star Cleave (Tank Mechanic)
This is the tank-buster move. The Warden pulls back for a massive horizontal swing.
- The Action: The Tank must perform the Shield Gesture (arms crossed or specific class gesture) at the exact moment of impact.
- Consequence: Missing this block will likely one-shot the tank or apply a massive debuff that makes healing impossible.
DPS Strategy
Range DPS (Essence Mages) should stay mobile and spread out to avoid overlapping Comet Rain damage zones. Blade Masters should focus on backstabs but be ready to dash out when the Warden begins his spin animation.
Summary
Success against The Star Warden comes down to physical awareness. Keep your head on a swivel, watch the ceiling, and ensure your tanks have their block timing perfected.
