Transitioning from Iron to higher-tier crafting in Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore requires rare precious metals. Silver Ore, the Tier 2 precious variant, is notoriously difficult to farm due to its low spawn rate alongside standard nodes.
If you are stuck on your Blacksmithing or Jewelcrafting progression, these are the best spots to check.
Viyant Mines (Lower Levels)
The Viyant Mines are the most reliable source, but also the most dangerous for solo miners.
- Location: Deep within the mountain range.
- Strategy: Head to the lower levels past the initial spider spawns. Look for the glinting silver veins mixed in with the dense iron clusters.
- Warning: Elite mobs patrol these tunnels. Bring a combat-ready friend or high stealth.
Edrivine Ranges (Surface Routes)
For those who prefer open-air mining and less claustrophia.
- Location: The rocky outcrops scattered across the Edrivine Ranges.
- Strategy: Run a loop along the cliff bases. Silver nodes here are rare spawns that replace standard Iron nodes.
- Competition: High. Because this area is safer than the mines, you will often find other players camping the spawns.
Respawn Timers
Silver nodes share a respawn timer with Iron but have a lower probability to appear. To force spawns:
- Mine EVERY Iron node in the area.
- Wait for the respawn cycle (approx. 10-15 minutes).
- Check if any new nodes spawned as Silver.
Conclusion
Patience is key. Do not skip the Iron nodes, as clearing them is the only way to re-roll the dice for a Silver spawn.
