BNS has 14 classes, each with unique martial arts styles and third specialisations.

Combat System

BNS combat is real-time and combo-based. Skills chain into each other. Dodging (Q/E/SS iframes) is mandatory — you take zero damage during an iframe. Learn boss attack patterns and time your dodges.

Gearing at Endgame

The gear progression path is linear: Story gear → Baleful/Seraph → Raven → Aransu → Grand Celestial → Thornbreaker → current patch gear. Upgrade your weapon, soul, pet, and talisman through upgrade materials. The Soul and Pet provide the biggest DPS increases.

Soul Shield Progression

Soul Shields are equipment sets that provide stats and set bonuses. Upgrade them in this order:

Do not invest upgrade materials into Moonwater or Ebondrake shields — they are temporary. Save all legendary jewels and fusion powders for Grand Celestial and above. A maxed Soul Shield provides 30-40% of your total stats at endgame.

Hongmoon Weapon Path

Your weapon evolves rather than being replaced. Feed upgrade materials (elements, jewels) into your Hongmoon weapon to increase its tier. The weapon path is linear — you cannot skip tiers. Focus upgrade materials on your weapon first, then accessories (ring, earring, necklace), then Soul Shield last.
