Wayfinder: Gloom Dagger Location

The Gloom Dagger is a required artifact to craft the Niss signature weapon. Since the Echoes update reshuffled the loot tables, players have been confused about where it drops.

New Drop Source

The Gloom Dagger now drops from The First (Boss) in the Sphere 4 difficulty of the Repository of Knowledge.

• Zone: Aurelian Admin.
• Imbuements: You MUST apply at least one Chaos Imbuement to the dungeon key. It does not drop on standard runs.

Drop Rate

• Standard: 2%
• Sphere 4 + 1 Imbuement: 5%
• Sphere 4 + 2 Imbuements: 8%

Farming Strategy

1. Skip Trash: Run past the mobs in the hallway. Use Wingrave’s shield to block projectiles.
2. The First Boss:
   • Watch out for the “Silence” phase.
   • Break his break-bar immediately with heavy attacks.
   • If you don’t break it, he teleports and heals.

Alternative: You can buy the Gloom Dagger from the Traveling Merchant in Skylight for 5,000 Memory Fragments, but his stock rotates weekly.
