SWTOR: Update 7.6 - Darth Malgus’s Hidden Holocron Location

Update 7.6, titled “Legacy of the Sith: Epilogue”, brings a conclusion to the Malgus narrative arc and hides a very special secret for lore hunters. Players can now find Darth Malgus’s Hidden Holocron, which grants a unique strongholds decoration.

Location: Planet Elom

To begin the search, travel to the planet Elom. You must have completed the main story questline for 7.6 to access the specific “Ruins” instance where the holocron is hidden; otherwise, the area will be blocked by debris.

Navigate to the Ancient Sith Ruins sector map. You are looking for a side chamber located at coordinates X: -450, Y: 120. It is an unmarked room just off the main hallway leading to the final boss arena.

The Statue Puzzle

Inside the chamber, you will find a pedestal surrounded by three Sith Statues representing different eras of the Sith Empire.

• Statue 1: Ancient Sith
• Statue 2: Sith Triumvirate
• Statue 3: Imperial Sith

The statues are currently facing outward. To reveal the holocron, you must align them so they all face the center pedestal.

1. Click Statue 1 (Ancient Sith): Rotate it twice clockwise.
2. Click Statue 2 (Sith Triumvirate): Rotate it once counter-clockwise.
3. Click Statue 3 (Imperial Sith): Rotate it three times clockwise.

Note: If you mess up the order, there is a reset switch on the wall near the entrance.

The Reward

Once the statues are aligned, the central pedestal will descend, and a secret compartment will open revealing the Holocron.

Click on it to receive:

• Item: Malgus’s Command (Holocron)
• Type: Stronghold Decoration (Small/Medium Hook)
• Achievement: “Heir to the False Emperor”

This decoration features a voice-acted loop of Malgus discussing his vision for a new Empire, making it a must-have for any Sith-themed stronghold!
