Sandstalker the Ancient

Sandstalker the Ancient is a formidable giant scorpion that roams the dunes. This encounter requires a solid tank to manage its poison stacks.

• Zone: South Sands (Oasis of the Forgotten)
• Mob Type: Beast / Scorpion
• Key Drops:
  • Ring of Grit: A stamina-heavy ring essential for tanks.
  • Chitinous Plating: Crafting material for desert armor sets.

Strategy: Cleanse poison immediately. The Sandstalker has a frontal cleave, so DPS should remain behind the mob at all times.

The Lost Centurion

Wandering the ruins near the oasis edge, The Lost Centurion is an undead skeleton warrior retaining his martial prowess.

• Zone: South Sands (Oasis of the Forgotten Ruins)
• Mob Type: Undead / Skeleton
• Key Drops:
  • Centurion’s Tower Shield: High block rate shield.
  • Ancient Bronze Sword: Decent starter weapon for Sword specialized classes.

Strategy: He engages with a shield bash that stuns the tank. Healers need to be ready to pre-heal or shield the tank before the bash lands to prevent spike damage during the stun duration.

Farming Tips

These named mobs have a spawn timer of approximately 45-60 minutes. It is recommended to camp the central ruins and pull roaming scarabs while waiting for The Lost Centurion, as his patrol path intersects the main ruin entrance.
