The Solar Flare Mechanic
The star of Pyro is unstable.
- Warning: You get a 5-minute warning on your HUD: “Coronal Mass Ejection Imminent”.
- Action: You MUST hide in the shadow of a planet, asteroid, or station.
- Failure: Your ship shuts down. Shields drop. Radiation kills you in 30 seconds.
Stations in Pyro
There is no UEE Navy here.
- Ruin Station: The main hub. Controlled by gangs. If you have a positive reputation with the UEE, the gangs might shoot you on sight.
- Refueling: Fuel is 5x more expensive than in Stanton.
- Tip: Bring a Starfarer tanker. Selling fuel to stranded players is the most profitable loop right now.
PvP State
It is kill on sight (KoS). There is no Crimestat in Pyro.
- Tormentors: Stealth bombers hiding near the Jump Gate are common. Travel in convoys.
Star Citizen finally feels like a “Verse”. Just don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose.
