Warframe Fissure Planner
Refinement odds, rewards-per-run and expected relic opens — plan the farm before you burn traces.
Refinement improves the odds you care about
The classic refinement ladder trades Void Traces for probability: Intact keeps relic base chances (rare ≈2%, uncommon ≈22%, common splits the rest), Exceptional/Flawless/Radiant step the rare up to ≈10% at Radiant while slightly widening broad chances. Choose refinement by what you want: rare-chasing Primaries/frames go Radiant, speed-level of common drops never upgrade. The planner prints the odds band for your exact pick.
Runs-per-run: the shared reward exploit
Fissures grant each player choice among rewards, so a solo-capstone squad run usually lands you 2 picks (yours plus a shared one) and faster squads can bank more. That is why the planner rewards-per-run input matters: a 2-reward radiant rare run is ≈20% per run, halving the expected relic count versus soling. Squads first, refinement second — for most rare farms, the reward count matters more than the refinement tier.
Void Traces and stock math
Traces cap at 1000 base, refine at 25 (Exceptional), 45 (Flawless), 100 (Radiant) per relic — so planning a Radiant stock of 5 relics is 500 traces of farming before the first fissure. The planner shows expected relic opens to land the drop at your refinement, whether your stock is deep enough per the odds, and how far your trace bank will carry a full Radiant batch. Under-stocked runs just become a farm-then-plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which refinement is best for rare drops?
Radiant — roughly 10% per reward for the rare slot versus 2% Intact. For uncommons the gains are thinner, so much curation goes by squad rewards rather than refinement.
How many relic opens for a rare drop?
Divide odds: a 2-reward Radiant run sits near 20% per run, so about 5 runs on average for the rare — but the tool prints the actual math per refinement and reward count.
Ortho refinement odds changed over time — are these current?
The planner uses the long-standing documented table (rare 2/4/6/10% by refinement, uncommon 22/26/32/40%). Edit your inputs if a patch changes odds, and verify before burning a big trace bank.
