Genshin Team Advisor

Burst cost × energy gain = uptime. Check whether your ER and rotations sustain the burst loop you planned.

Base ER is 100%. Gained energy counts particles and favours per rotation before the ER multiplier.

Burst uptime is an energy equation

Every Genshin team runs against the same constraint: your burst costs 40-90 energy but only fires when charged, and energy gains from particles are scaled by your Energy Recharge stat (base 100%). Multiply your raw particles-per-rotation by ER, compare against the burst cost, and you get uptime: 100% means burst-every-rotation, 50% means every other. The advisor prints that number and how much ER separates you from closing the gap.

Counting particles honestly

Energy comes from skills, kills and favours — the same character gains less from their own element and the same particles give more on the on-field character. So the raw particles number should come from one full rotation of your actual team combo (count every skill tag and favours procs), not from an idealized guide list. Re-count after any character swap or ER weapon change — the burst loop is too tight for folklore.

ER vs ATK — the team trade

When uptime is below 100%, the fix is usually ER substats, an ER weapon, or a battery teammate feeding particles to the costed character. When it is at 100% with headroom, excess ER converts to nothing — swing those substats to crit or ATK. The advisor's shortfall number tells you exactly which side of that line your build sits on for this team setup.

Frequently asked questions

What is base Energy Recharge?

Every character starts at 100% ER — energy gained is multiplied by ER%, so 130% ER multiplies particle gains by 1.3. Enter your totals from artifact substats and weapon/passives.

How do I count energy per rotation?

Add up every particle batch your team generates in one rotation (count each skill cast, favour procs and funnels). It is tedious exactly once — then you know the team's hurry rate.

Where should I put excess ER?

Into crit or ATK substats — energy above the rotation need contributes nothing, so 100% uptime is the ceiling worth chasing.
