FFXIV Market Compare

Velocity beats margin

New flippers obsess over margins and ignore velocity — then sit on a 200k-profit listing for three weeks while faster items compound daily. The compare tool puts both numbers next to each other for up to four candidates: average NQ/HQ prices, live listing counts, and daily sale velocity from Universalis, all on your datacenter. A 5k margin moving 50 units a day beats a 100k margin moving one a month, and the table makes that obvious.

Cross-item comparison also kills single-item bias. That materia looks cheap until the compare shows its twin moving twice as fast; that crafted glamour looks profitable until velocity reveals a dead market. The AI verdict names the winner, the avoid, and why — grounded in the four reports, never in vibes. For single-item deep dives use the Market Checker, and for gathering routes behind the crafts see cosmic exploration gathering routes.
