RotMG Pet Planner
Current rarity to target level — see max levels, fusion gates, and the feed power budget in grindstone equivalents.
Rarity gates, fusion and the max-level ladder
Pets level within a rarity ceiling: Common caps at level 30, Uncommon at 50, Rare at 70, Legendary at 90 and Divine at 90. You cannot push past the cap — the next step is fusion, which consumes TWO pets of the same rarity (the first must be at or near max level) to produce one pet of the next rarity, keeping the abilities and skin of the first. That means every fusion doubles your feeding commitment, and the planner keeps the ladder in front of you before you sink feed power into a pet you intend to fuse away.
Feed power economics
Feeding is the actual currency of pets: XP gained equals the feed power of what you feed, so a plan is really a budget of feed power. The planner sums the XP you need from level to target, using a community standard escalation curve, and divides by the feed power you enter per feed item — grindstones, feedable items or pet companions all become one number you can shop for. High feed power in a single feed beats many small ones for time.
Ability choices matter more than level
Pet abilities scale with level and the first, second and third slots matter in that order for most play — heal, magic-find / e-magic-find and other utility follow. Stat order is fixed at fusion, so NEVER fuse with the abilities you wanted on the pet that gets consumed — double-check before feeding or fusing. The planner outputs your level plan, but ability discipline is what makes the plan worth having.
Frequently asked questions
What are the max levels per rarity?
Common 30, Uncommon 50, Rare 70, Legendary 90, Divine 100. Divine is the practical endgame cap for first-ability maxing.
How does fusion work?
Fusing two same-rarity pets makes one of the next rarity; the first pet must be at max level for its rarity. The final pet keeps the first pet's skin and abilities, so pick which pet is the fusion primary before feeding.
What counts as feed power?
Every feedable item and pet skin carries a feed power value. Grindstones and high-feed items give far more XP per feed action than low-tier fodder — the planner divides your XP need by your entered feed power.
Is this affiliated with Deca Games?
