How PokeMMO breeding odds work
Every egg inherits 3 random IVs from its parents — unless someone holds a Destiny Knot, which raises it to 5 of the 12 combined parent stats. A Power item guarantees its own stat from its holder on top of that, and an Everstone locks the holder's nature at 100%. The planner enumerates every inheritance draw exactly (all 6 knot-draws times all parent coin flips) instead of approximating, so the per-egg odds for your target spread are exact, not Monte Carlo guesses.
The standard competitive path this planner assumes: breed a 2×31 parent against your target until a 3×31 hatches, swap it in, add the Knot, and climb stat by stat — each generation roughly halves the remaining distance. Braces shortcut one stat at the cost of the Knot slot on that parent (run Knot on one parent, brace or Everstone on the other). Genderless species must go through Ditto, and the non-Ditto parent always decides the egg's species.

What does the Destiny Knot do in PokeMMO?
The Destiny Knot passes 5 of the 12 combined parent IVs to the egg instead of 3 — it is the single biggest odds multiplier for competitive breeding and the default holder for one parent.
How do I guarantee a nature?
Give one parent an Everstone — in PokeMMO the offspring inherits that parent's nature 100% of the time. No Everstone means a random nature.
What do the Power bracers do?
Each Power item (Bracer, Anklet, Band, Belt, Lens, Weight) forces its stat to inherit from the holder. It stacks with the Destiny Knot: the braced stat is guaranteed, then the Knot fills the rest.
Which parent decides the species?
The mother — or the non-Ditto parent when breeding with Ditto. Genderless breeding only works through Ditto.

Parent A: 31 HP/31 Atk/31 Def/31 SpA/31 SpD/0 Spe, holding Destiny Knot. Parent B: 31/31/31/31/31/31, holding Everstone (Adamant). Need: all 6 IVs perfect. Result: 1 in 2187 (~0.046%), expected ~2,187 eggs. Verdict: breed a better intermediate first.
