Why use the price checker
The Grand Exchange moves fast — 5-minute windows tell you whether an item is on a spike or a slump. This tool shows the live instant-buy and instant-sell prices plus the trader's classic decision: how thin is the spread, is the avg drifting away from right now, and is a margin big enough to bother with fees.
When you combine it with the OSRS Flip Finder you get the full ladder: broad sweep to see which items are moving, then check single names manually as you plan flips. The AI verdict is instructed to be conservative: it will not invent prices, and marks plain reflection of whether the spread supports a profitable flip with GE tax applied.
Prices come from the community-maintained OSRS Wiki dataset — the same numbers live trade sites use, without ads or delays.

Which price shows the buy vs sell side?
Buy is the instant-sell price (highest buy offers). Sell is the instant-buy price (lowest sell offers). The gap between them is the market spread.
How current is the data?
Prices refresh every 5 minutes from the OSRS Wiki real-time API. Search results are cached 2 hours.
Can I look up any item?
Any tradeable Grand Exchange item — type at least part of its name, matches are fuzzy.
